 on the side of the school's gym, created by Adam Sanchez, a student in the MHS class of 2002. This refers to the high school's mascot, the "Marauder." The mural is shown on the school's student handbooks, as well as on the posters detailing the school's ESLRs. There is an additional mural which faces the tennis courts and Henderson Avenue.

The department currently consists of facility members Linda Neuhaus, Justin Adams, Gregg Snyder, John Gonzales, Teresa Zappey, and Josh Sutherland.

Music

The choir and band programs run with a combined 900-1000 participants. Notable Monache alumni include professional musicians James Martin Schaefer, Efrain Martinez Jr., Amber Erwin, Michelle Latour and Jonathan Raasch. All, but Michelle Latour, have been seen on stage, recently, for Opera Pacific

Monache graduate Steven Stück has had choral music published, of which one piece debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York in addition to commercial, film, choral, and orchestral projects. Credits include KISS FM Los Angeles, Fine Living Network, Flyboldt Productions (in Assoc. with 20th Century Fox), Finance & Thrift Bank, Luis Palau Ministries, Los Angeles Children's Choir, and the Plano Symphony Orchestra.

The Monache High School Marching Band has also performed around the nation and the world, including locations such as Edinburgh, Scotland, the Aloha Bowl, the Hollywood Christmas Parade

Bowl Band festival, winning three of the four events of the festival: the jazz band competition, the field show competition, and the parade competition. The Marauder band did not compete in the Concert Band competition of the festival. Current Drum Majors for the band are Tomas Reyes, Cain Balderas, and Hugo Baez.

Agriculture

The department currently consists of facility members Cindy Brown and James Corbett. It is one of the best agriculture departments in the nation. Tulare County boasts some of the nation's finest oranges and almonds. Monache High School is also proud to be part of it. With award winning oranges and grapes, Monache has gone on to win many awards. It recently won the award for best pistachios in Hong Kong.

Business

The department currently consists of facility members James Filarsky, Anthony Gale, Tony Grande, and Lewis Wills. The business department is known to send its students to work at some of the largest firms in the nation. It also has sent students to help globalize the economy in Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan. It has been rumored that the government has taken economic advice from various staff members these past few years as well.

English

The department currently consists of facility members Patty Aguilar, Tom Alexander, Kourtney Andrighetto, Raghbir Bajwa, Kathleen Barraza, Anna Belko, Amanda Cooper, Mike Dupree, Sandra Flores, Mike Garner, Chris Likewise, Trisha Likewise, Socorra Martinez, John Miller, Robert Morfin, and Bryant Poe. Monache High School strives on its large English Department. It has been teaching people of the Central Valley and the rest of California on how to speak proper English for years. It tries to implement a program where students will speak proper English and refrain from "California" English with words such as 'Hella' and 'Braaaaap'.

Foreign Language

The department currently consists of facility members Manuel Castaneda, Sonia Cruz, Alfonso Hernandez, Baldomero Perez, and Magdalena Sanchez. These renown Latin American teachers have helped bridge the gap between Latino Americans and North Americans for the past thirty years by teaching Spanish to thousands of students. They also take pride in their own salsa and nachos recipe that Monache serves in their Annual Salsa competition. Senor Perez is the reigning champion.

Mathematics

Current courses include: Geometry P, Algebra P, Algebra 2, Precalculus P, Precalculus AB/BC, Calculus, Calculus 3, Engineering Math

The department currently consists of facility members Herbet Abiog, Eddie Bittner, Amanda Driver, Rosa Heurta, Tim Keith, Jeanette Markman, Galen Mueller, Laila Rayani, Connie Renteria, Lisa Sampietro, Myron Wareham, Jake Winder, and Mark Wright.

Health

The department currently consists of facility members Mark Barsaleau, Matt Shearer, Myron Wareham, and Lewis Wills.

Physical Education

The department currently consists of facility members Tahnee Baxter, Brian Cruess, Diane Graybehl, Chris Likewise, and Jim Short.

Science

The science department is headed up by Kinsey Blomgren, who teaches AP Physics alternately with AP Chemistry, as well as many Physics of Technology classes to high level Freshmen. Grant Wagner is another active teacher in the science department, teaching Chemistry as well as two periods of AP Environmental Science and two periods of directive coursework (online classes).

Social Science

Technology
