Mobovivo is a Canadian software company that enables broadcasters and other video content publishers to distribute television shows on various devices. The company was the first company in Canada to licence and distribute television programming online.

History

Mobovivo was founded by entrepreneur, TV producer and author Trevor Doerksen. In 2006, it became the first company to offer legal television content for the iPod

In May 2009, Mobovivo announced distribution for top ten hit TV program, The Tudors

Trevor Doerksen

In addition to founding Mobovivo and serving as its CEO, Trevor Doerksen has written numerous articles about the internet and video technology. He is also the author of a chapter in Handbook on Information Technologies for Education and Training.

In April 2010, Trevor was awarded the People's Choice Award for Entrepreneur of the Year by Digital Alberta. In July 2010, Trevor was named one of Alberta's 50 most influential people.
