 since 1999, and attended the "Gulli and Pennisi" grammar school there. She then went to an art school in Catania.

 2008, and won the competition. She qualified for the pageant by winning the title Miss Prima dell'Anno 2008 (Miss First of the Year), a title that she won on a Carlo Conti programme, L'anno che verrà. She also won the "Miss Cinema" award.

Leone co-presented Uno Mattina Estate from 1 June to 11 September on Rai Uno. In 2010 Leone was a judge on Ciak! Si Canta. Since 2010, she has been co-hosting Mattina in famiglia on Rai Uno
