International career

 from 1984 to 1992.

Tirana (2003–2006)

After his playing career ended, he started coaching KF Tirana. He was the coach of the capital team from 2003 to 2006, where he won three league championships, a domestic cup and three super cups.

Vllaznia(2006–2008)

Josa then coached the northern team where he started off very well, with 68% wins in his first year, and earned Vllaznia third place in the league table.
The next season Vllaznia went four places down the table, ending up in seventh.

Elbasani(2008–2009)

After being fired by Vllaznia, Josa coached Elbasani in the 2008-2009 season, the team got relegated to the first division due to financial reasons that year.

Teuta(2009–2010)

The next managerial step was coaching Teuta, the team of Durrës. The team finished the season in the 8th place.

Shkumbini(2010–2011)

Josa coached Shkumbini only for a few matches and left for Vllaznia in the same year.

Vllaznia 2010–

Vllaznia fired two coaches in the same year, and the third one was destined to be Josa, his return to Vllaznia came with success. After being a midtable team last year, Vllaznia challenged for the title, and went on an unbeaten run of 12 matches.
