. Miente is also the name of the Puerto Rican feature film directed and designed by Rafi Mercado from House of Mercado Entertainment. It stars Oscar Guerrero as Henry, Mariana Santangelo as Paula and Frank Perozo as Diff. It is based on the novel Different by Javier Avila, and was produced by Isla Films.
Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart at number 5 on August 2, 1997 and climbed to number 1 the following week, spending four weeks at the summit. The single spent 10 weeks inside the top ten.
