Michael Travis is an American musician.

Bio

Travis was born in southern California. He graduated from University of California at Santa Cruz with a degree in Environmental Science in 1989 and moved to Crested Butte Colorado.

Travis was a founding member of The String Cheese Incident, a jamband, and author of the songs Time Alive, Swampy Waters, Rainbow Serpent, Diggin' In and Samba DeGreeley.

Travis was a member of the electronic based band Zilla
