Career

Broussard began his literary career with Jan Miller at Dupree Miller & Associates in 1987. Miller met Broussard while he was waiting tables at a popular Dallas restaurant, and told him he had the personality to be an agent. Starting out as an intern at Miller’s offices, Michael went on to become one of their lead agents, representing such books as Chelsea Handler
