, is served by the San Joaquin line and is served by six trains daily. Merced Station is a replica of the former Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad station that was torn down at the end of the 20th Century.

Of the 73 California stations served by Amtrak, Merced was the 25th-busiest in FY2010, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 280 passengers daily.
