, India. It was situated near Peroor Karunallur Bhagavathi Temple in the name Kalluvilla Pvt School. In 1944, it was under Y.M.V.A Library. Kunjan Pillai was the manager and H.M. Hereafter, school undertaken by Damodaran Pillai. His role was as an acting assistant. Then, the school shifted to a place near to Peroor Meenakshi temple. Since then, it has been known as Meenakshi Vilasam school. In 1947, school comes under Kerala Government. After 19 years, it was raised to High school. In 1974 June, school was divided into primary and high school. Now this school features vocational (since 1993) and non-vocational higher secondary (since 2000).

M.V.G.V.H.S.S serves students from first standard to higher secondary and vocational higher secondary level.

Facilities

The school covers over two acres. High school has 41 class rooms within 5 buildings. Vocational higher secondary includes 5 classrooms within 2 building. The higher secondary school includes 6 class rooms within 2 buildings. School carries facilities like a wide playground and three computer labs with broadband connection.

Extra curricular activities

Apart from the formal classes, the students take part in co-curricular activities like Scouts & Guides, N.C.C, magazine publishing and Vidyarangam art & literature club programs.
