Maurice Mahon, 1st Baron Hartland (21 June 1738-4 January 1819), was an Irish politician and landowner.
Mahon was the son of Thomas Mahon and the Honourable Jane, daughter of Maurice Crosbie, 1st Baron Brandon
. He succeeded his father as one of two representatives for County Roscommon in the Irish Parliament in 1782, a seat he held until the following year. In 1800 he was raised to the Peerage of Ireland
as Baron Hartland, of Stroketown in the County of Roscommon, as a reward for his support for the union.
Lord Hartland married the Honourable Catherine, daughter of Stephen Moore, 1st Viscount Mountcashell. He died in January 1819, aged 80, and was succeeded in the barony by his son, Thomas.
