Six years later in 1997 an exhibition with her own name was travelling for New Work, Martha Schneider Gallery, Chicago, Illinois and Mario Diacono Gallery, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.

Collective exhibitions

She also was involved in many collective exhibitions: in 1984 El ISA Saluda la Bienal" during the time of the First Havana Biennial Bienal de La Habana. Galería L,Havana. She participated in the XVIIIème Festival International de la Peinture. Château Musée de Cagnes sur Mer, Cagnes sur Mer, France. In 1989 she was also included in "¿Arte Sexo?. Lo erótico en el arte" (collateral to the 3rd Havana Biennial). Facultad de Artes y Letras, Universidad de La Habana.
She was one of the selected artist for the Seventh Triennial Exhibition, Fuller Museum of Art, Brockton, Massachusetts,U.S.A, 1993. In 2001 she was included in the 49 Esposizione Internazionale d'Árte, Biennale di Venezia, Venice, Italy.

Awards

During her life she has obtained many awards and recognitions like the "Mention of Honor", in 1986 in the XVIIIème Festival International de la Peinture, Château Musée, Cagnes Sur Mer, Francia. In 1990 Painting Fellowship, The Banff Centre for the Arts, Alberta, Canada, in 1992 Foreign Visiting Artist Grant, Media Arts, Canada Council, Canada, in 1994 Bunting Fellowship. Mary Ingraham Bunting Institute, Radcliffe Research and Study Center, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A and in 1995 Art Reach 95 Award, National Congress of Art & Design, Salt Lake City, Utah, EE.UU.
