. He taught printmaking, design, drawing and painting. He served as Studio Chairman, Chairman of the Division of Fine arts and held varied service roles during his tenure. An exhibiting painter since 1958 he continues to work as a draughtsman and painter of oils. He travels around the world drawing from nature and returns to his studio and paints about nature. He is known for his robust and distinctive landscapes, complex surfaces, and exciting color manipulation.
