She was known for her food restrictions in the academy due to her religion, Seventh-day Adventist Church
. At the same time, she was always rumored to have a relationship with some of the students in the academy, notably Asmawi Ani
. In the finale concert, she was voted fourth.
Her debut album was finally launched on Jan 11, aptly titled Yang Pertama (The First). Self-produced and distributed by Alibi Music, which took her under its wings last year, the album features five songs. The self-taught pianist composed two — the poetic Janji and the playfully feminine Bila, with lyrics by Hariry Jalil and Eenaz Mokhtar respectively.
Janji is featured on the soundtrack of TV drama Korban 44, which also starred Marsha and Hariry, while Bila is rearranged by musician Kimberly Chin.
The other songs are Tak Perlu Selamanya, composed by Cham of VE and lyrics by Cydney Chang, her TV series Kita’s theme Bersama Kita (Delynne Hashim), and Ruang Kedua, a duet with French singer Julian Cely.
