History

The Marlins Puerto Cruz were founded in 1997 and have enjoyed considerable success in the Spanish and European baseball circuits. The team won the Copa del Ray every year from 2005-2009 and the CEB Cup in 2004. The Junior Team won the 2010 Junior Championship Series.

Unlike many teams in the Division de Honor de Beisbol, the Marlins are not a side operation incorporated into a club known for football.
