Mariano Cañardo Lacasta was a Spanish
professional road racing cyclist. Cañardo has won a record seven editions of the Volta a Catalunya (1928, 1929, 1930, 1932, 1935, 1936, 1939). On Daniel Marszalek's cyclist ranking, Cañardo is ranked 92nd.
In 1930, he became the first Spaniard to win the Vuelta al País Vasco after placing third in 1928 and he won the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana
