. Other elements of the music, namely the techno dance beats are purely modern. The album was well received by critics and released in Canada and Japan.

She has released videos for seven of her songs. The videos, like the music, feature strong elements of 1960s fashion with modern twists. Many of the videos mimic the style of the Scopitone

To date, she has performed in several feature films, including 3 Zéros [sic], Les Gaous, The Pink Panther and Tu Devais Faire du Cinéma.

Galanter recorded her second album, Happy Fiu, with English band Little Barrie

She was looking for partners for her second album, "Happy Fiu", which was released in fall 2008, who would complement her perfectly and emphasise her personality. She worked with singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright, with Martin Duffy of Primal Scream and with the band Little Barrie. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac supported her with many of her texts. The result was a very personal album with light summer pop songs.

In 2010 Galanter joined the roster of chanteuses touring and recording with Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux's Nouvelle Vague

 project. According to Galanter's Twitter feed, she has recorded some material for the next Nouvelle Vague album.
