Education

Manly is the home of the Central Springs Panthers. They are in a whole-grade sharing agreement with the Nora Springs-Rock Falls school district. The high school, and half of the elementary students (originating in the Manly and Plymouth region) to go school in Manly, while the middle schoolers, and half of the elementary kids (originating near the Nora Springs, Rock Falls area) go to school in the Nora Springs building. The school colors are blue and black, the mascot being a panther. The school song is the M. S. U. School Song, shortened so that the cheerleaders can dance to it.
