, a ProSlide Hydromagnetic Rocket for their 2010 season. On May 7, 2010, Wildebeest opened to the public as the world's longest water coaster at 1710 feet (521.2 m) in length. On August 3, 2011, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari announced the addition of a second ProSlide Hydromagnetic Rocket, Mammoth, scheduled to open for their 2012 season. Unlike Wildebeests 4 seater inline tubes, Mammoth will seat 6 riders in new, circular, Clover Wheel tubes. The ride will be 53 feet (16.2 m) longer than Wildebeest taking over the title of the world's longest water coaster. Costing $9 million, Mammoth is expected to open by May 2012.

Ride

Riders will board one of ten Clover Wheel tubes which each sit 6 people in a circular fashion facing inwards. The ride will begin with a conveyor belt

 lift to a height of 69 feet (21 m). On a 45 degree angle the ride then drops 53 feet (16.2 m) before navigating a 1710 feet (521.2 m) long course of drops and electromagnetic powered hills.

Mammoth will be the first Mammoth Rocket (a Rocket with 6 seats) to be installed worldwide. This particular ride type was first announced at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo in 2010.

Records

When
Mammoth opens in 2012, it will gain the title of the "World's Longest Water Coaster" from Wildebeest.
