Corporate History
Magal Security Systems Ltd. was founded in 1969 as a department of the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). In 1984 Magal was established as a private company, with 26% of the shares still held by IAI.In 1993 the Initial public offerings of Magal was made on the NASDAQ National Market in the USA (the company's symbol being MAGS). A second stock offering was made in 1997.
