Mackie is a brand of the United States based company LOUD Technologies. The Mackie brand is used on professional music and recording equipment such as mixing consoles, loudspeakers, and DAW control surfaces.
Tapco, an Edmonds, Washington-based line-mixer company was owned by Greg Mackie, who later started Mackie and opened a factory in Woodinville, Washington. All production has been moved from the Woodinville plant, to various contract manufacturers, mainly in China.
Mackie makes many products including loudspeakers, studio monitors, digital recording equipment and more.
