 competition held in Asia for school children. It is conducted by MaRRS Intellectual Services and uses Pearson Longman Dictionaries as their reference material. The objective of the competition is to enhance the spelling and literary skills of children by encouraging them to explore the English language, expand their vocabulary and improve their communication and comprehension skills.

Competition

The competition was started in 2003, and now over 300000 students from more than 1000 schools participate in the competition annually.

First International Championship

The First International Championship was conducted in Mumbai

Second International Championship

The Second International Championship was conducted on 8 November 2009 at two venues, Delhi

. Twenty students from the Dubai Center and sixty students from the Indian Center qualified for the final round. Shivani Nirgudkar of Thakur Public School, Mumbai was adjudged as the best performer of the competition.

Third International Championship

The Third International Championship was held at Nexus International School, Malaysia. Aditi.D.Joshi of Manovikas School, Goa (India), was the best performer of the year.

The Fourth International Championship

The Fourth International Championship will be held at Abudhabi.

Rounds and Levels

The competition begins from the school level and moves on to the Inter School, State, National and finally to the International Level. The students are divided into six categories based on their grades at school. They face written and oral rounds. The written rounds are rounds such as Dictation
