MCIBS stands for Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. A holder of the MCIBS qualification can also use the Chartered Banker designation. The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland, which is now known as the Chartered Banker Institute, is unique in being entitled to award the Chartered Banker designation to its qualified members.
