Louis Siciliano was born in Naples, Italy on 19 March 1975. It is considered one of the most eclectic of the European music scene, as well as political activist for the rights of the marginalized and weak. Intellectual involved in the fight against consumerism and empty trash TV that dominates the Italian society, is considered an outsider and a composer far from the logic of marketing of the music market. The Music of this composer is fully directed towards the synthesis of various techniques of composition. His personal language tries to merge the Eastern with Western thought, the music of the North with the South. For Louis Siciliano, his Music is "the way to Joy", an experience Ritual, totally Sacred. The music of Louis Siciliano retrieves forms and musical instruments of different musical languages, that the composer does not hesitate to incorporate in the Symphony Orchestra or a personal vision of Electronics and Computer Music, for which he was a pioneer in the nineties. Louis Siciliano is author of a new way of organizing Music in Space. This theory was called Surround Music Composing and puts the Spatialization of Sound at the base of the concepts of the Structures. Experimental Jazz, Electronica and Post-psychedelic Rock is very pronounced in the music for the band as he headed LOU SIX JOURNEY and LSD (Louis Siciliano Dreaming). In 2011 he founded the recording label JOURNEY. The mission of this independent label is to give prominence and visibility to the musical experiences away from the logic of the commercial music business. In recent years he has produced, composed, orchestrated and mixed a lot Soundtracks for many Italian directors such as Alessandro D'Alatri, Fabrizio Cattani, Mohsen Melliti, Enrico Oldoini, Maurizio Zaccaro, Alessandro Greco, Giorgio Arcelli Fontana, Alfredo Arciero, Francesco Costantini, Katrin Bohr, Alessandro Aronadio, Francesco Maria Dominedò , Salvatore Pisciscelli, Aureliano Amadei and Gabriele Salvatores. Louis Siciliano is currently engaged in DJIGEN AFRICA TOUR 2011 www.louissicilianojourney.weebly.com with whom he has held many concerts in major festivals and jazz festivals all over the world.
