Early life
Lopamudra was born in Kolkata, India and is daughter of Pranab Mitra and Sumita Mitra. Her mother is too a contemporary singer. She started learning music from her father and then from Gitabitaan Cultural Institute. She was student of Sukumar Mitra and Subinoy Roy. She was also involved in singing in group theatre.Awards
