. The club was formed on February 13, 2008. Lokomotiv-2 Moscow acts as the farm club of Lokomotiv Moscow in fact it is the feeder team of Lokomotiv Moscow.

History

The debut of Loko-2 in its first ever football league can be considered a success. Lokomotiv-2 Moscow competed in the Amateur Football League and overall they did pretty well. In fact they secured the bronze medals, that is the third place by beating Zenit Moscow on the final day in front of a sizeable crowd.

The squad of Lokomotiv-2 used to be made up of players from the youth teams and school of Lokomotiv Moscow. Also players who don't make it to the main team will be able to try their forces in Loko-2. The captain and as well leader of Loko-2 is Manuchekhr Dzhalilov
