, England, and became interested in puzzles after leaving school, eventually gaining enough confidence to write his own. King also paints, and his subject matter ranges from emotive themes to puzzle related imagery.

King specialises in creating novel and unusual puzzles with "Aha!" answers. Most of his puzzles require lateral and "outside the box
