, and the Owl to battle Alpha Flight and Gamma Flight. His defeat and banishment by the original Talisman and the Tribe of the Moon was recounted. He then framed Alpha Flight for his crimes, and fomented a battle between Alpha Flight and Gamma Flight. He opened the Gateway of Night, unleashing his forces on the Earth. Alongside his demon forces, he battled Alpha Flight, Gamma Flight, and the Canadian Army. He was ultimately defeated when Talisman and Doctor Strange
opened the Gateway of Day, releasing the armies of the light. He levied curses on Alpha Flight before being banished for another 10,000 years.
The Sorcerer can only manifest himself on Earth during a certain planetary conjunction which occurs once every 10,000 years, and then cannot initiate any action against the Earth unless first attacked by the forces of light, usually personified by the Talisman.
Llan possesses a vast knowledge of magical lore.
