RNE is Spain's national, public radio broadcaster and forms part of Radiotelevisión Española (RTVERTVE

RNE operates six radio stations:
- Radio Nacional - General service of mostly speech-based programming
- Radio Clásica - Classical music and concerts
- Radio 3 - Pop and rock music aimed at a youth audience
- Ràdio 4 - Regional service broadcasting in the Catalan language
- Radio 5 (Todo Noticias) - 24 hour news channel
