When the Nationals arrived in Washington, D. C., MASN acquired the television rights for almost all Nationals games. However, MASN was not available to most people in the Nationals broadcast area for nearly all of the first 2 seasons in DC. Some of the games were also televised on WDCA

In 2006, MASN continued to televise Nationals games. The number of WDCA telecasts decreased to approximately 30, mostly on Friday nights. MASN's broadcast partner switched from WDCA to WDCW
