Description
Leaves jointed at the base. Usually two or three leaves per shoot, seldom seen with one or four leaves per shoot. Linear to lanceolate in shape. 10 to 30 cm long, 10 to 15 mm wide. Leaves pale green, folded together, (not with a leaf stalk). Flowers green, cream or yellow. With two parallel longitudinal ridges on the petal, coloured orange or yellow on the ridges. Flowers around 12 mm long.Flowering occurs between February and June. The scent of the flowers is reminiscent of a wet dog.
