The Evin sisters announced that as of late 2006 the band was considered on hiatus due to the loss of Burns and Warrington, but with the addition of two new members in early 2007, the band was in the process of rebuilding. The band announced its return in 2009, and released their third album Tigerlily independently in Canada on 24 August 2010.

, was released in Canada on 24 August 2010 and is currently set to be released in Japan, along with two bonus tracks. The first single released was "Dance Alone", which did not chart but achieved moderate airplay. The album's second single was "Nowhere to Run". Its official video was released on 7 August 2010.

Current status

Preceding the release of Inside the Hollow, it had been stated the album would only be available in Japan and Canada until further notice.

In April 2008, Lillix moved to Vancouver, BC and were preparing to record a new album.

On 15 March 2009, The band introduced a new member, Britt Black, and announced the recording of a new single, "Dance Alone", which can be found on their official website. In addition, the band launched pages on Facebook

On June 14, 2009, LillixOnline.com announced the new single "Dance Alone". Since then, the group has kept a video blog to communicate the upcoming album's progress to their fans, answering their questions and previewing acoustic songs. It has been announced in March 2010 on the website that "Nowhere to Run" would be the band's upcoming single, and that a video directed by Colin Minihan would be shot by the end of the month. It was released on 7 August 2010 and first aired on MuchMusic the same day. The title of the new album was announced on July 17, 2010, to be Tigerlily in honor of their original band name.

Tigerlily was released in Canada on 24 August 2010. It has been met by positive reviews, music journalists like Kate MacRae from ChartAttackChartAttack
