Beginnings

The band initially formed in 2002 online by accident. Vocalist Robb “TaLLLLL” University created an AOL profile and listed “singing in the shower” as one of his hobbies. Keyboardist Will Pepper searched for singers nearby and stumbled upon Robb. They bonded instantly and recorded five songs after their first meeting. Those songs eventually made way for the band to meet with well-known producer Kevin Rudolf

On April 13, 2010, Lights Over Paris released their first EP, Turn Off the Lights EP on Digital Records/Type One Records. "Turn Off the Lights" was downloaded over 100,000 times on iTunes
