and Wilmot Road (Kenosha County Highway C). The brick Tudor-styled Liberty Corners School was built in 1932, replacing a 19th Century frame school structure. The building is now a church, the students being consolidated into the Salem School district in Salem Wisconsin. On the sight of these school buildings was the Liberty Congregational Church (1840), which declined and was torn down after the introduction of a rail line through the village of Salem to the north and Trevor to the West. The Spring Valley County Club and Golf Course is located at Liberty Corners.

The "Corners" notation is believed to be an add on to the name Liberty. Liberty is the name of the village in the Northeasten States where the earliest settlers were from. IN the 1840's, there were many 'village' businesses - livery, blacksmith, store and stage stop.

Liberty Corners does not have a post office and if it were not for the name emblazzoned on the old school building's keystone, few would know it as a place once thriving.
