The first announcement of the album was made by Dickerson at TDRS Music

Besides this album, Dickerson also announced three other albums; the first with his brother Lindy Dickerson, Paul Ill, and DJ Bonebrake, the second one with Vince DiCola

On October 25, Dickerson posted an image of the album cover and announced more information to come in the next few days.

On October 29, the album was made available for pre-order, along with the Buckethead album Captain EO's Voyage

, with a tentative release date of December 1. The pre-order also features samples from all the tracks from the album. Eventually the CD was released on November 29.
