, holds the distinction of being one of the few players ever to be involved in a trade between the two New York baseball franchises when he was dealt from the Yankees to the Mets for Tim Burke. He finished his career in 2007 with the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.

The son of Arthur and Ruth Guetterman, he and his wife Drew currently live in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
