auto body shop. He invented his first boat trailer from spare parts he had from fixing boat motors, and his boat trailer business came into being when people saw his invention on his boat, and asked him to make the same type of boat trailer for them.

He died in Spokane aged 97 and was survived by two sons, six grandchildren and seven great grand-children.
