Even with the low water levels the lake is still open for a number of things including, fishing, ATV'S or dirt bikes, R.C. airplanes. Like boating Water skiing

 and jet skiing are not currently allowed on the lake. There are several covered fishing piers, campgrounds, and more. The marina's website is www.lakedraper.com

Maintenance

As of , the lake water levels still remain low due in part to the maintenance that was done on the Atoka Pipeline that supply's water from Lake Atoka to the lake and water usage due to the ongoing drought. Because of this all boating is prohibited till water levels return to pool depth which could still take at least six months to do so. Authorized personnel only are allowed on the water.
