 on the eastern side of Orange completed in 1962 and then used as the main water supply for Orange, Lake Canobolas was no longer required for domestic water supply purposes. It has since been developed as a recreation reserve and tourist attraction. Lake Canobolas is nearby to the popular Mount Canobolas
