History

  • May 4, 1923 Opened as Suehiro Station (末広駅) of Ikegami Electric Railway.
  • April 1928 Renamed to Higashi-Chofu Station (東調布駅).
  • January 1, 1936 Renamed to Kugahara Station (久ヶ原駅).
  • January 20, 1966 Renamed to the present name (change in Japanese spelling only).
