series of books. He is technically the main antagonist of the series, although he is not seen throughout the entire series until season 3 where he appeared in a few episodes. He is portrayed by Spence Decker.

Character background

Not much is given about Kivar's origins. Kivar decided to take over the government of Antar

 and started a revolution that killed many people. He succeeded in taking over and killing the former king and assumed control. Little did he realize Zan (Max Evans

) and the rest of the "four" had clones and were sent to Earth.

Years later, Kivar sends some of his men who called themselves the "skins", led by his trustful follower Nicholas, in order to kill them seeing them as a threat to his rule even though the "four" did not know who Kivar was or what happened. At the conference, which had representatives from the neighboring planets of Antar, Kivar asks Nicholas fill his seat and makes an offer to Max to assume the title of king only in name, bring peace to the war between those planets and return of the "granolith." Max declines and Nicholas the last of the "skins" returns to Antar.

A year later, Kivar decides to take possession of a body and tries to convince Vilandra (Isabel

) to come with him back to Antar. At first he sends visions to her before her wedding. After she meets Jesse, he follows them to their honeymoon, where he tries to seduce Isabel, almost succeeding. Once Michael

and Max find out, they try to stop him, but soon Vilandra takes over Isabel. She shows Kivar where Max and Michael are hiding. Michael then remembers that Vilandra never truly betrayed her brother, that she thought Kivar meant well.

Kivar knocks out Max and Michael, and he and Isabel walk to where he starts a portal. Jesse shows up and Isabel knocks him out with a branch. Then as they are about to step in the portal, Isabel's eyes turn normal and she pushes Kivar into the portal and threatens his life if he ever comes back.
