Plot Summary

It is a story of two such girls who according to their circumstances and environment struggle very hard to make a life for themselves. There are two main characters of the play – Samina and Shabnam. Samina, after her father’s death sacrifices a great deal for the betterment of her family while Shabnam toils for respect and a woman’s rightful place in the society. There were many such incidents that proved to be huge hurdles in their way, but they kept a cool head and overcame all of them with courage while keeping their dignity and self-esteem intact.
