Following the eventual break-up of American Pearl, Kevin spent most of 2003 in the studio writing and demo-ing new songs. The result was Praying Hands, The Acoustic EP, recorded and co-produced by Noah Shain at his White Buffalo Studio in Hollywood.

In 2005, Kevin joined L.A. band Orson

 as a guitarist. In 2006, Orson released their UK platinum #1 debut, Bright Idea

Kevin has produced the Light of Day EP for LA band, Analog Smith, and is currently working on their follow-up full length.

Kevin is also currently in the studio with Noah Shain recording the debut album from Goldsboro, the rock trio consisting of Roentgen, Chris Cano and Johnny Bentjen.
