. Ken received critical acclaim after his first recorded song won the 1968 South African Song Festival in the Beat category. From there, he went on to write numerous top 20 hits, some with Ernie Schroder, including "Baby Love Affair", "Twinkle Toes," "What Have I Done" and "Candy." In addition he was also featured in a South African Broadcasting Corporation TV documentary called PULSE, which highlighted his musical success. Ken also composed numerous commercial jingles.

Later Activities and Present Day

In 1978 Ken immigrated to the United States where he met his wife Lois Schuman. Today, he lives with his family in the United States, where he continues to compose and, together with lyricist, Stephanie Friedman, write adult contemporary and country songs. Ken also provides piano instruction and background music at private parties in and around New York City.
