and grew up there.
He sang with a group, "The Western All Stars", and in early 1966, Killen contacted Western Ranch Music Records with an audition
tape. He was signed to a contract on August 1, 1966. Killen retired in 1969, and in his short career, had recorded 20 masters for Western Ranch Music Records.
He died in 1986. Killen is buried at a local cemetery at Clintwood, Virginia
. He had a wife, June, and two daughters, Debra and Regina.
