's seventeen Junior High Schools. Kealing is home to one of the three junior high magnet programs in Austin, which specializes in mathematics and sciences. Kealing has two programs, the CAP (Comprehensive) Program, and the Magnet Program.

History

Kealing was originally Anderson high school, but a fire burnt the school down. It was then rebuilt as Kealing Junior High in 1986. Recently, the school has expanded to include sixth graders as well and renamed itself Kealing Middle School.
