Katlang is a Tehsil
in Mardan District
of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is situated about 19 Kilometers north of the Mardan city. It is surrounded by canals in west and north. Katlang has busy market with most of the facilities available. Katlang fare, held on Friday, is very popular among the residents of Katlang and the surroundings. Katlang has Govt Higher Secondary School, a degree college and multiple other private schools and colleges.The villages of Tehsil Katlang are Ghundo,Alo Qasmi,Char Chur,Inzargai, Dheri, Likpani, Mian Khan
, Sangao, Shamozai,Babuzai etc.

CHAR CHUR is a small and beautiful village of Tehsil Katlang. It is situated about 9 km from Katlang.It is an agrerian village.The famous places of CHAR CHOOR are sori gat,KATO DAND, Balasor,bajro khat,qalasar etc.The most beautiful place of CHAR CHOOR is its river.Its population is about 1800. The education level is low due to insufficient facilities. In CHAR CHOOR there are one primary school for boys and one for girls. A girls middle school is undercontruction at balasor CHAR CHOOR.Charchoor:-
Our village is Char Choor which is situated in the Mardan District, Khyber Pukhtoon Khwa. It is on the boundary between Alo & Likpani. The village gets tropical climate. The temperature of the village is not so hot as compared to the cities during summer and not so cold during winter too. It is edged like a friend by a river called Khwarh. The river rises on the boundary of Alo and flows toward Kalpani, passing from Likapni. Agriculture is the main stay and occupation of the villagers. wheat, sugarcane, tobaco and Corn etc are the main Crop of the village. Institutions open for primary education to both male and female. Education is not up to the mark due to lack of proper institutions/Schools. Lack of proper infrastructure is the main drawback which directly effects the growth of the development.It has now been planned and started construction on School for female in which education at middle level can be provided only and may be upgraded to High leve school once started.The village consist of about to 8 mosques in different areas for the worship.The cultural and social life of the villagers is simple and comfortable. People are contented with what they have.They are energetic and hard working. They love one another and respect superiors. Almost all the youth of our village is educated, talented and sincere with his field of study. With the advance of time, my village receives progress. INSHALLAH.
