Encyclopedia
Katerina Jebb is a British-born artist and photographer based in Paris. In 1984, she moved to California to study photography. In 1989, she moved to Paris where she continues to work and live.

Images and techniques

Jebb is known for her unconventional approach to image creation. An artist who works in several mediums (photography, plastic art, audiovisual), she has produced a diverse body of work. Her signature work involves the use of industrial-sized photocopy machines and scanners, a technique she employs to produce a phantasmagoric aesthetic, an element often present in her visual landscape.
