Katary Falls is 3rd largest falls in the Nilgiris and the height of the falls is about 180 feet.This sheer wall of water falling from great heights is a sight to behold. The water released from the Katery dam flows onwards to emerge as the Katery Falls. The power station in the dam which supplies a 1000KW of power for every five hours and the power house first-ever hydel power plant in the country, the power station pumps water as a raw material to Cordite Factory
