She attended Bongilcheon Middle School, from which she graduated in 2009, and currently attends Muhak Women's High School.

in November 2010.
In 2011, the group was ranked at #1 on the Recochoku favorite Korean artists in Japan poll.. More recently, JiYoung was the only Korean female singer to be featured on CDTV Japan's
