It was part of a much larger plan for the Kanata Town Centre district, which never really "got off the ground" on the south side of Highway 417

. It once featured a cinema, beer store and a bank, but these have either folded or moved to other (more accessible) locations like the Kanata Centrum or one of many shopping strips along Hazeldean Road.

It currently features a grocery store, medical clinic, dance studio, golf liquidation centre, hair studio and a ServiceOntario Driver and Vehicle service counter (https://www.services.gov.on.ca/services/mapLocations.do?action=more_info&id=11847&locale=EN). It is served by OC Transpo Route 96

There is ample parking around the sides and back of the mall. There is also a rusty bike rack at the north entrance.
